Exposure 3 on Foto.no


Alexander Tufte went over Exposure 3 with a fine-toothed comb for this review. His years behind the camera and in the darkroom have given him a critical eye for accuracy. The resulting review is full of beautiful examples, insights, wisdom and advice.

The example above uses the Kodak Ektachrome EES setting.

Alexander produced a real Kodak Tri-X comparison to test Exposure’s accuracy. He shot the identical scene digitally and with film. The equipment he used was a Canon 5D MKII, a Fuji 6X9 medium format camera, Kodak Tri-X 400 120 film and an Imacon scanner. Below are the results; the top image is the digital photo, the bottom image is a scan of the actual film.
